On Saturday, Meek Mill took the stage in his hometown of Philly for the Made In America festival, just one day before Future did the same. However, despite the guys being pretty tight (they’ve collaborated before and Meek has even named Future as one of his favorite artists in previous interviews,) the MMG rapper appeared to throw some shade Future‘s way when he said the following to his DJ:
“You’re playing all motherf*ckin’ Future tonight, n*gga! You don’t play some motherf*cking rap too? The hell is you doing, n*gga? Play some hot sh*t too. My n*gga Future on Made In America.”
Could he have been jumping out the window once again? Not so fast, as he later took to Instagram to clarify his statements:
Since Future was having such a good year and his album “DS2” went number 1, he decided to go on ahead and release another album. Nearing the close of his set at the Made In America festival, the rapper thanked his fans and made the big announcement to release new music. “It’s gonna be another album out before the year out, just know.” What are your thoughts about Future dropping 2 albums in just one year?
