Almost immediately after Big Sean dropped “Switch Up” featuring Common, people started buzzing that it was a shot at KiD CuDi. CuDi just announced that he was leaving the G.O.O.D. Music imprint a few days before the song debuted. Although Sean said that he and CuDi remain friends, people insisted on saying his latest track was a diss song. Last night at USC Springfest, Sean peformed the new song for the very first time and once again said the song is not taking shots at anyone. Watch more below.

Earlier in the week, KiD CuDi announced that he was leaving G.O.O.D. Music and yesterday Big Sean released a new track, “Switch Up.” Many people began to speculate that Sean’s track was a shot at CuDi or something along those line. G.O.O.D. Music Comments On Kid Cudi’s Departure
Yesterday afternoon, it was revealed via a radio interview that Kid Cudi had left his longtime label, Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint. It was pretty shocking, considering he’s been on the label for over 5 years now, and has worked extensively with Kanye in that time, but Cudi said he simply wanted to “start my own path.” He even said he’d spoke to Kanye and he supported it.
