I am not laughing at the fact that former governor of New York David Paterson is legally blind. I am laughing at the image in my mind of him driving a go-kart on a 3.5 mile course. That is exactly what he did in Syracuse not too long ago. According to the owner of the go-kart venue, the former governor was actually assisted by a police officer. Dam I heard of police escorts for politicians, but this is a little much lol. Anyway, Paterson came in last, finishing long after all the other racers, but he should still be credited for making his way through the course being legally blind. I wonder if the go-kart was returned in the same condition it was before he took off, or did he crash it a bunch of times. I wish there was video of the race.
