NFL: Seahawks Fans Setup GoFundMe to Help Pay For Russell Wilson’s New Contract

GoFundMe was a great and simple way for people to raise money for worthy causes like cancer treatments and homelessness but now it’s taken a turn for the worst.  People started raising money for crazy stuff like financing Vegas trips and other ludicrous, unnecessary things.  The latest craze seems to be raising money for sports teams and players.  Recently, New England Patriots fans set up a GoFundMe to raise $1 million to pay the fine from the DeflateGate investigation.  Last time I checked they raised over $16,000!  Now their Super Bowl opponents are trying to use the service as well.

NFL: Patriots’ Fans Start GoFundMe to Pay $1 Million DeflateGate Fine

The NFL handed the New England Patriots a hefty $1 million fine after the DeflateGate investigation.  The fine is the most handed to a team in NFL history.  Many Patriots fans were upset about the punishment which includes losing their 1st round pick in the 2016 draft, 4th round pick in the 2017 draft, and a four-game suspension for quarterback Tom Brady in addition to the team fine of $1 million.  Citing that the fine is BS because it’s based on “circumstantial evidence”, fans decided to raise money to help pay it off.

Big Ang’s Sister Pulls GoFundMe Account To Raise Money For Hospital Bills Over WHAT?!

Big Ang from VH1’s Mob Wives has recently been diagnosed with throat cancer and her fans wanted to help her out with her hospital bills for whatever insurance did not cost. Being a good sister she is and trying to help, Ang’s sissy Janine Detore created a GoFundMe account so all of Ang’s worried fans could have an easy way to donate cash money for her surgeries. However, Ang was never told about the page. A random fan asked Janine why a celebrity was asking their fans for help, and she realized that was a valid point. She quickly took down the page and apologized to fans for even asking for any help due to the fact that between Ang and her family, they’re more than capable of covering any hospital bills. The page was only active for a few hours but in that time, they raised $150. We hope you feel better, Ang!
