(Photos/Video) NBA: Carmelo Anthony Leaves Big Scratch With Face Palm Defense on Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry is arguably the greatest shooter we’ve ever seen in the game and the major question has been, how do you defend him?  Well Carmelo Anthony employed a new trick Sunday night during the Knicks game against the Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors vs. the San Antonio Spurs was supposed to be a major game so it drew some pretty big names to the Oracle Arena.  In attendance was rap superstars Jay Z and Drake; they got two different receptions however.

At this point everyone is starting to wonder if the Golden State Warriors have any competition at all.  We were all looking forward to the Warriors game against the Cleveland Cavaliers and they crushed them.  Anticipation for the Warriors game against the San Antonio Spurs was even higher as we all assumed it would be much more competitive; well wrong again!  The game was so bad the Warriors even had a 40 point lead.  A major question has been HOW do you stop Stephen Curry; well he even had a Defensive Player of the Year spinning in circles so good luck trying to figure that out.

Last night didn’t exactly live up to the hype between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors but we did see some interesting moments between the two best players in the league, LeBron James and Stephen Curry.

The Cavaliers vs. Warriors was expected to be a major game on Monday night, not only as a rematch of the 2015 NBA Finals but also because the Cavaliers were healthy this time with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love back in the lineup.  Unfortunately it fell WAY short, on the Cavaliers end.  What resulted instead was a major blowout with the Warriors winning 132-98.  The game was pretty much over early with Stephen Curry sitting out the 4th quarter after dropping 35 points in the first three.  Iguodala hit the bench too after dropping 20 points on 7/8 shooting from the field.  The game got so boring Iggy ended up taking a nap.

NBA: Klay Thompson Says Warriors Would Be Probably Still Be Undefeated If They Were Completely Healthy

The Golden State Warriors are 33-2 so far this season.  One loss was to the Bucks without Harrison Barnes and Kevon Looney (the game that stopped their win streak at 24) and their second loss came to the Mavericks without Stephen Curry, Festus Ezeli, Leandro Barbosa, Barnes and Looney.  Some believe without the injuries they would still be undefeated.  Warriors guard Klay Thompson is one of those people.
