Google decided that about 60,000 apps weren’t up to its standards and took them off the Play store. This was done to combat with spam as well as wanting to revamp its site. Google didnt single handily pull each app, some were taken down by the publishers.
Google Play Gets A New Look
Today, Google updated its Google Play store on Android with a new look. The company wanted to create a design that highlighted its music, app, magazine and video selection by making the images bigger so they can off the pages.
