It is possible for someone to actually hijack a plane with using only their smartphone. Hugo Teso, a security consultant who use to be a commercial airline pilot, said its easy for someone to hack into the airlines system using the right tools and under specific conditions. Teso says he’s developed an Android app, called PlaneSploit, that can make it very easy to for someone to hijack a plane.
Justin Timberlake Got Swatted Too?!?
It seems no celebrity is off limits from the swatting prank that is becoming more and more popular these days. Apparently a hacker got a hold of quite a few celebrities private financial information, including notables like Michelle Obama and Kim Kardashian. The hacker has been using the information to prank top celebs, most recently Diddy and Rihanna were hit Wednesday and Thursday respectively. LAPD is on their way to Justin Timberlake’s Los Angeles home in response to a call that claimed shots were fired in his house by 4 black males who also left a flashing red box. None of that was factual but it’s scary to think that somebody is out there making these things up. I wonder who is up next. Hit the jump for more.

According to sources, celebrity hackers who we previously reported on, have been posting the financial information of a number of celebrities have decided to stop. On their website they posted, “We have enjoyed every minute of the past 12 days of providing entertainment and laughs to all of you, sadly it’s time to say bon voyage – we hope – inspiration, fear, denial, happiness, approval, disapproval, mockery, embarrassment,thoughtfulness, jealousy, hate, even love.”
WTF!!!! Reuters Employee Indicted For WHAT!?!?
A Reuters employee has been indicted by the US Justice Department for reportedly helping members of a group of hackers, hack the Los Angeles Times website. Matthew Keys from New Jersey, was charged in the Eastern District of California with conspiracy to transmit information to damage a protected computer, transmitting information to damage a protected computer and attempted transmission of information to damage a protected computer.

A Florida man was just sentenced to 10 years after he hacked into actress Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis, singer Christina Aguilera, and other notable celebrities email. Not only was the hacker sentenced to 10 years but he also has to pay $66,179 in restitution.
