Michael Brown Sr., father of police victim Michael Brown Jr., led the ‘Justice Walk’ memorial march through Ferguson, Saturday, just one day before the second anniversary of his son’s death. Brown Sr. was followed by many marchers including Black Lives Matter activists, friends and family.

Beyoncé changed some choreography around for her Formation World Tour and I have to say that such a small change in choreography can speak volumes.


NFL: Rams Players Who Did “Hands Up” Protests Take It Further With $10K Donation, Attend Ferguson Xmas Party

This is a dope story of athletes trying to do all they can for something they believe in. As you all know last month prior to a game, a few members of the St.Louis Rams came out with their hands raised showing their support for the “Hands up, Don’t Shoot” protests that were going on around the country as a result of what happened between Mike Brown and officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson. Well even though the local police tried to scold them they decided to take a step further and help out.

GQ threw their annual “Men of the year” event last night and the stars were out. Michael Sam may no longer play for the Rams, but he still has a connection to the area and has been very interested in the situation unfolding recently in Ferguson. Dave Chappelle has also been very focal on Ferguson and even recently made it part of his stand up show. While the two were at the awards last night they made sure to show their support for Mike Brown, Ferguson and protesters. Hit the jump.


NFL: St. Louis Police Demands Punishment For Rams Doing “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot”

On Sunday, five players from the St. Louis Rams showed solidarity and support for Michael Brown and the Ferguson protestors as they emerged from the tunnel and took the field doing the “hands up, don’t shoot” gesture.  It’s the pose that has been the stance of the Ferguson protests as many people say Brown was surrendering when he was shot dead by police officer Darren Wilson.  On the other side people believe that account is untrue and that Brown did not have his hands up, they say he instead was charging at Wilson, not surrendering.  Now the St. Louis police demands punishment for Rams who participated saying they essentially called the exonerated police officer a murderer…
