New York Officials Speak Out In Disgust After Uncle Murda Rents Out Nassau County Jail For, “Hands Up” Visual

Oh boy! While many have used walks and protests to show support in the unjustified deaths of black males such as Eric Garner and Mike Brown by the police, Uncle Murda and Maino use their voices. In, “Hands Up” the two rap about being black men in a society of white police officers who kill for unexplained reasons. Unlce Murda and Maino released a skin-chilling, but truth-telling visual to their latest visual, “Hands Up”. Nassau County Jail served as one of the facilities where the video was filmed and now, New York state officials are lashing out because of that fact. “It’s disgusting, it’s purely disgusting,” says Roy Richter, president of the NYPD – Captain’s Endowment Association. “I think any video that advocates violence against police officers especially, is something where the makers of that video should be held responsible for it.” There’s the comment – somehow when violence on a police officer are depicted in a fictional display, it becomes a problem. #BlackLivesMatter Drop down for more.


NFL: Black Officers Defend The Rams’ ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’

The Ethical Society of Police (ESOP), representing a majority of black officers in St. Louis, has taken a bold stand and issued a statement supporting the Rams’ Hands Up, Don’t Shoot gesture. ESOP goes on to explain that there is slim to no black representation on the boards of the Fraternal Order of Police & the Police Officers Association. So, they broke away, expressing 100% support to the Rams, calling their actions “commendable,” even praising them on “taking a stand on this very important issue.” Read the actual statement issued by these African-American officers after the jump!
