Parents in Rhode Island gathered at a high school after a security officer at the school is caught on camera slamming a student by the neck.

Earlier this year up and coming Chicago rapper, Lil Bibby stopped by Sway in the Morning where he revealed he was a high school drop out with only one credit left to earn. He shared with Sway, the lack of emphasis on education in Chicago and said the lack of hope in neighborhoods is the reason why Chi-town kids don’t stay in school. Before he left the show that day, he made a promise to Sway that he would earn his GED. In March, Lil Bibby revealed via Instagram that he did go ahead and earn his GED and not only earn it but achieve straight As. Fast forward six months later, Wednesday the young rapper revealed that he went back to school and earned his diploma. The 19 year-old dedicated his achievement to Sway, his mother and grandmother. A Muslim teenager was arrested after after bringing in his home-made clock to school. One of this teachers claimed the teen’s invention “looked like a bomb” and Ahmed Mohamed was led away from school in handcuffs. According to Ahmed he enjoys creating and building things and he was able to complete this alarm clock in about 20 minutes in his bedroom. The teen used a circuit board, a digital display and wires. He the housed the invention into a pencil case with a tiger on the front. When Ahmed brought the clock into school to show his engineering teacher who said, “That’s really nice. I would advise you not to show that to other teachers.” Ahmed listened to his engineering teacher and kept the clock in his backpack, until it started beeping during English class. The teacher said the invention looked like a bomb. He explained to the teacher how he created his alarm clock and the teacher reported him to the principal who claimed it looked like a “movie bomb.” Ahmed was arrested and sent to a juvenile dentition center and suspended from school. High School Student Arrested After Posting Eminem Lyrics On Instagram
A 15-year-old, high school sophomore from Fresno, California was arrested Monday on charges of making terroristic threats. The charges came after the school notified authorities of an Instagram post that included violent lyrics to an Eminem song. Read more details below.

The Oak Park High School in Southern California had a star-studded graduation ceremony this year. The graduating class of 2015 included Disney Channel Star Zendaya Coleman and Olympic Gold medalist Gabby Douglas. The star power doesn’t end there however.
