RIP: Sylvia Robinson, Founding Mother of Sugar Hill Gang, Passes at 75

Legendary music executive Sylvia Robinson “The Mother Of Hip-Hop” passed away today due to congestive heart failure. Sylvia Robinson founded and was CEO of Sugar Hill Records. She is responsible for the hip-hop group “The Sugar Hill Gang,” and their song “Rapper’s Delight” the first hip-hop song released. She then followed up with Grandmaster Flash’s classic song “The Message”. Hip-Hop lost one of the greats today. Marisa Mendez and #IFWT

Al Pacino Thanks The HipHop Community For The Support Of The Movie “Scarface”

In 1983 Brian De Palma was responsible for one of the most beloved movies of all time. That movie was called “Scarface,” which has became a cult classic. Tony Montana(Al Pacino) was “A political prisoner from Cuba,” who started at the bottom and did what he had to do to become the “Man.” The movie has been released on Blu-Ray and the cast came together at the release party.
