As Amanda Bynes’ condition has gone from bad to worse, the former child star is headed for another conservatorship, but instead of her parents this time, doctors are planning to get the type that can keep her confined and medicated for up to 1 year – an LPS Hold.
The LPS Hold allows doctors to confine Amanda at either the hospital or another secure facility, and administer medication against her will. As you’ll recall, Amanda just came off of an LPS Hold last month, but it’s clear that it wasn’t enough help. Her doctors will reportedly ask a judge for a new LPS Hold within a week, after Amanda is fully diagnosed.
