(Video/Photos) NBA: Dwight Howard & 200 Rockets Fans Stranded in Arena Due to Heavy Rain/Flooding

A flash flood emergency was declared in Houston where torrential downpours created severe flooding.  Tons of cars were stuck on highways and fans inside the Toyota Center were urged to remain in the arena. Some 200 fans were stuck in the Toyota Center for hours along with Rockets star center Dwight Howard.  According to Howard, he lives further away then the other players and was urged to stay in the arena while the others left.  Howard remained upbeat and even came out and comforted the stranded fans as well as speaking with the media.

NBA: Clippers May Have Choked Away Their Shot At Championship After Epic Collapse Against Houston

The Los Angeles Clippers had everything under control in their series against the Rockets. They had totally dominated two games in a row, and last night were well on their way to blowing out the Rockets and closing the series and moving on to the Western Conference finals. But in typical Clippers fashion, things fell apart and the entire team choked and Houston put on a comeback for the ages to steal the game and likely steal the series.

After the Houston Rockets prowess 3-point shooting sent the Dallas Mavericks home, their twitter account decided to take a shot of their own. The Houston Rockets Twitter account tweeted a Horse and Gun emoji, referencing to the Rockets putting down the depleted Mavericks. The Houston Rockets have one of the best sports team accounts on Twitter.  They’re very interactive and usually post cool videos, photos and funny tweets.  They found themselves in hot water last night however as they were about to beat the Dallas Mavericks .
