NFL: Arian Foster Could Require Season Ending Surgery

Though the Houston Texans may have fixed their quarterback issues in using Case Keenum, they might have another huge problem on their hands.  Star running back Arian Foster has missed a couple games and could be out for the rest of the season should he require surgery.

The Houston Texans got demolished by the St. Louis Rams 38-13 and fall to a 2-4 record.  Their starting quarterback Matt Schaub went down with an ankle injury and backup quarterback TJ Yates entered the game.  Unfortunately Yates continued Schaub’s tradition and threw a pick-six making it the fifth pick-six thrown in five straight games by a Texans quarterback.  Well one Houston native is ready to step in and help.  Read more after the jump.

NFL: It’s Official!! Ed Reed Signs New Deal With Houston Texans!!

The long awaited drama involving where Ed Reed would play football next season is now officially over. After spending his entire career with the Baltimore Ravens, Reed signed a 3 year/ $15 million dollar contract with the Houston Texans this morning. The Ravens have been a sinking ship ever since winning the super bowl. Numerous players have either been cut, retired or signed with a different team since the big game. Reed was rumored to be leaving because Baltimore didn’t exactly want to pay him as much as he wanted for a new deal. Read more about it after the jump.


NFL: Texans DE JJ Watt Wins Defensive Player of the Year

No surprise here as Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt terrorized teams all year with one of the best defensive seasons in NFL history.  It’s only fitting that he end it off winning the Defensive Player of the Year award.  Read more after the jump.
