Update: Hurricane Sandy Shuts Down Transportation, Holland And Battery Tunnels To Close At 2 p.m.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has announced that the Hugh Carey Tunnel (Brooklyn-Battery) and the Holland Tunnel will close on 2 p.m. Monday as a precaution against flooding.
