Ty Dolla $ign is not only an accomplished performer, he’s an accomplished songwriter as well. On top of his own tracks, Ty has also had a hand in penning hits for others, including Chris Brown’s “Loyal” and parts of Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg’s “Young, Wild & Free.” While overseas on tour last month, Ty sat down with i-D Magazine, and shared a few tips and tricks on how he gets into the zone – without sharing the entire secret formula, of course.

As part of her cover story with i-D Magazine, Rihanna shared “the key tracks in her life,” from the song that made her want to embark on her musical career, to her number one workout song, the track that reminds her of her BFF and more. Aside from naming classic tracks from the likes of Mariah, Biggie, Michael Bolton and more, Rih also proved she is very much in-the-know of what’s new and hot right now, choosing tracks from newcomers like Fetty Wap and Rae Sremmurd as well! The Bajan beauty has definitely always been on top of new music releases, even being one of the first big names to do the Shmoney Dance last summer, and tweeting French Montana lyrics WAY before he was big.
