Kobe Bryant might not be able to join his teammates on the court yet, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t happy today. (Photos) NBA: Carmelo Confirms: “I Want To Retire In New York”

The Knicks lost their game against the Bulls last night, but they might of won in the long run. Prior to the game going on the air, Carmelo Anthony did an interview with TNT where he discussed his free agency. He has been taking some undeserved criticism lately for even discussing his possible free agency, and leaving it up in the air as far as where he could wind up. But if you are a true fan you know it would be naive of him NOT to opt-out and become a free agent because of the money he can earn even if he was to re-sign with the Knicks. He decided to clear the air last night and Knicks fans should he happy. Hit the jump.

(Video) NBA: Chris Paul Has A MONSTER Game, As Clippers/Warriors Get Physical!!

Chris Paul is not playing around!! The best Point Guard in the NBA showed us why he has earned that title last night, as he went off for 42 points and 15 assists in a 126-115 win. He was in a constant battle with Stephen Curry, who dropped 38 points himself for the Warriors. The Clippers led pretty much most of the game, but this game was still full of exciting plays. It was also the scene of some physical play between DeAndre Jordan and Andrew Bogut as they both shoved each other extremely hard, almost coming to blows. Lob City was in the building as usual when Jordan earlier in the game caught an alley-oop with his head almost touching the rim. I am loving that the NBA is back!! Hit the jump for the highlights.

(Video) NBA: He’s Back!! Derrick Rose Hits Game Winner To Take Down Knicks

The doubts about Derrick Rose and his health should be put to rest now. He did not play a great game against my Knicks last night, but he got it done when it counted the most. Rose hit a tough shot over Tyson Chandler with 5 seconds left to give the Bulls a 82-81 win in his first game in front of the home Chicago crowd since he tore his ACL. The Knicks were down by 12 in the 4th quarter, but put together a nice run to tie up the game and set up an exciting ending. Carmelo Anthony, who finished with 22 points, had a chance to win at the buzzer, but his jumper fell short. Check the highlights after the jump.

(Photo) NBA: Kobe & Phil Have A Secret Breakfast Meeting??

I wonder what these two champions are talking about? Seems like a pretty random type of place for two high profile people to meet for breakfast. Like if they were trying to avoid any media. This breakfast took place yesterday and I just find it odd nobody else is around. Could this be the beginning of Kobe trying to get Phil back with the Lakers? Who knows, I could be reaching, but do you guys find it strange? Hit the jump for more.

If you have ever played team sports and really disliked your coach, then you have dreamed of doing this. But to actual do it is a totally different thing. Grambling State University, the former home of one of the most famous college coaches of all time in Eddie Robinson, watched as it’s entire football team boycotted practice Wednesday and again yesterday. They were fed up with their current coach, as well as treatment from the school itself. Hit the jump for more.
