Ice Cube & Gene Simmons Are Still Going At It Over Hip-Hop Being In The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Ice Cube and KISS rocker Gene Simmons have been going back and forth since last week, following Cube’s speech during N.W.A.’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In his speech, Cube shot back at Simmons’ comments in a recent Rolling Stone article, where he said he couldn’t wait for hip-hop to be finished, and that he feels the genre should not be in a hall of fame for rock and roll. You can read what was said here. For their latest, Cube has written out a lengthy reply via Twitter (one that he had to attach a screenshot of a note to get everything in,) and Gene too has replied on the social network. Neither party is backing down at this point, but I’m really going to need Gene to stop referencing a “Rap Hall of Fame.” NO SUCH THING, so it is irrelevant to any argument! Check out their replies in the gallery and let us know your thoughts.
