NFL: Geno Smith Still Angry About Broken Jaw & Losing Starting Spot

It’s been more than a month since that fateful incident and Geno Smith is still upset.  IK Enemkpali was reportedly upset over an unpaid $600 debt, and punched Smith breaking his and forcing him to undergo surgery and miss six to 10 weeks of playing time. The NFL suspended Enemkpali four games, the Jets cut him immediately, and Smith decided not to press charges.

NFL: IK Enemkpali Gets Suspended Four Games For Breaking Geno Smith’s Jaw

Well this took longer than expected but the NFL has finally ruled on IK Enemkpali and the punch that broke Geno Smith’s jaw. As you recall the former teammates had a dispute about money that Geno owed and it led to Enemkpali just knocking Geno out, requiring him to get surgery to fix his jaw. The Jets immediately cut him and then Rex Ryan and the Bills swooped in to sign him. They eventually also cut him so his four game suspension wouldn’t actually start until a team signs him. All of this was over $600 bucks!

NFL: Not Just Geno… IK Enemkpali Also Punched a Man Pretending to Be a Woman During Sex Hookup

So it turns out punching Geno Smith over $600 wasn’t the craziest altercation IK Enemkpali has had.  Enemkpali had to miss his college season opener because he injured his hand punching a man he thought was a woman with whom he had arranged to have sex via the internet.  Yes you read that right.
