This is one of the worst things to happen on a holiday. The town of Simi Valley gathered for their annual fireworks show when a set of fireworks malfunctions and injures 28 people in the crowd. Check out the raw footage after the jump.

Nicki Minaj celebrated both Independence day and her new MYX line of Moscato on a private boat event where she partied it up with her fellow famous friends. People in attendance included Tahiry, Yandy, Busta Rhymes, and even Hot 97’s own Ebro (amongst others.) The “Myx & Mingle” event was hosted by Mona Scott-Young and Myx Fusions Moscato aboard the Aqua Azul yacht as it cruised around the Hudson River in NYC. Deep Silver celebrated Independence Day by dropping a brand new trailer for its upcoming game, Saints Row IV. The game is set to be released On August 20th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms.
