“Nobody knows but God”. That is a quote right from the mouth of Derrick Rose, who still remains unsure when he will return, even though the season is over in about a month. “I really don’t know right now,” Rose said. “I don’t want to place no percentage on it, but I just know that I’m close and I’m taking every day serious and just becoming a professional. He went on to add “I’m not panicking or anything. If anything, I think I’m going to be a better player. I’m just taking my time. I’m just being patient, doing all the right things and really eating right and getting rest”. I love how Rose is handling this. A team should have no decision about when a player is ready to come back. Too many players in all sports rush back from injury, and were never fully recovered and they get hurt again. About a month ago, the Oklahoma City Thunder acquired Ronnie Brewer from the Knicks – would he talk sh*t about his former team?! Late last night after the Knicks took an L to the Nuggets, Ronnie allegedly tweeted something not so nice about the Knicks (keep in mind that Melo had to leave game in the 3rd quarter because of his right knee and they lost Tyson Chandler because of an injury).
