(Video) NBA: Dwyane Wade Leaves Game With A Very Painful Looking Injury

This did not look good last night. Dwyane Wade went down to the court in pain after what appeared to be an extended knee issue. When he fell though he basically did a complete split, which as a man I am sure added to the pain for a minute. No word from the Heat yet other than to say they are evaluating Wade.

NBA: Steve Nash Officially Announces Retirement From The NBA

Steve Nash announced his retirement from the NBA today in an unusual way. Rather than a big press conference or trying to get back on the court for a farewell tour, Nash chose to write about his own retirement, via Derek Jeter’s website “The Players Tribune”. Nash with the Lakers never really worked out due to constant injuries, but nobody should forget how amazing of a player Nash was in his prime and the MVP trophies he has to back it up. He never won a title but his career is destined to end up in the Hall of Fame without question.

NBA: Report, Blazers Wesley Matthews Done For The Season After Tearing ACL

Trail Blazers starter Wesley Matthews tore his left Achilles tendon Thursday night and will miss the rest of the season, the team announced. This is a huge blow for the Blazers as Matthews has all star level type talent and contributes in big ways for the Blazers. In his absence, newly acquired Arron Afflalo will need to step up more than anticipated.

(Video) NBA: ICYMI, You Can Watch The Entire Kobe Bryant #Muse Documentary Right Here

For months we have seen trailers for the Kobe Bryant #Muse documentary, which finally aired last night on Showtime. By the time I was done watching I realized I just watched one of the best sports related films or documentaries ever! It was done incredibly well and Kobe truly exposed his soul to viewers, in a way that he has never done his entire career. He gets emotional when speaking about tough times with his wife Vanessa and what being a father means to him. He speaks in such depth about everything from high school till now that it will definitely give you a renewed appreciation of Kobe while we still have the chance to watch him hopefully play one more season. Not everyone has the Showtime network that Muse aired on, so we got the entire film for you right here. Enjoy!

NBA: Russell Westbrook Has Surgery On His Face, Will Be Re-Evaluated Later This Week

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook underwent a successful procedure to address a fracture in the zygomatic arch bone of his right cheek Saturday, the team announced. He has been ruled out for Sunday’s game at the Los Angeles Lakers and will be re-evaluated this week to determine when he can return to play.

(Video/Photos) NBA: Russell Westbrook Has A Dent In His Face After Being Kneed By Teammate

I can honestly say I do not think I have ever seen this before. Russell Westbrook got kneed in the face by a teammate last night during the closing seconds of the Thunder’s loss to the Trailblazers. Typically if that happens you may see some blood, or abrasions on the skin, but not in this case, just a random dent in the side if Russell’s face. I joke about him not being human because of his freakish athleticism, but now I am wondering if he really is a cyborg. He appeared injured for a few seconds but then seemed fine to finish the game. It appeared nobody even noticed the dent until Mark Jackson, who was calling the game said something. No word on Russell’s condition from the team just yet, but wouldn’t be surprised to see him possibly wear a mask next time they play. Check the gallery!
