NBA: Isiah Thomas Dines With Mike Woodson & Lobbies For Job With the Knicks

Every time Isiah Thomas and the New York Knicks are brought up in the same sentence, it raises quite a few eyebrows.  Since Thomas was fired from FIU and is back in New York, of course he’s looking for employment.  Thomas recently dined with Knicks interim coach Mike Woodson who he’s known for quite some time.  It could be an innocent dinner or much more.  Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl


NBA: Will the Knicks Bring Back Isiah Thomas?

As we reported yesterday Isiah Thomas was fired as head coach at FIU.  In his three years, the Panthers went just 26-65 and never managed to capitalize on his celebrity to lure prospects and fans to a mid-major team.  Though he has a rocky relationship with New York fans he’s still a dear friend to Knicks owner James Dolan.  There were reports that Dolan wanted to rehire Thomas but couldn’t because of his position at FIU.  Now that he’s been fired will Dolan bring him back?   Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl

NBA: Isiah Thomas Reportedly Helping Land Chris Paul On The Knicks

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Isiah Thomas is “working behind the scenes to help the Knicks land Chris Paul,” the New York Daily News reports. Paul can become a free agent in the summer of 2012, and many league observers anticipate he’ll look for greener pastures outside of New Orleans.
