Cole then shook up the web with the release of “Everybody Dies” and “False Prophets” both consisting of shots aimed at a few of his peers. Within a seven day span, the Forest Hills rapper has built up an immense amount of anticipation. Wale didn’t take too kindly to J. Cole’s “False Prophets”. The song dropped on Monday and Folarin responded the very next day. Today the DC rapper proceeded to drop the video to “Folarin Like”, in which he rhymes over Nas’ classic “Nas Is Like”. Watch the response after the jump!

Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over! J Cole is back and he’s out to kill the competition and call out those who lack lyrical skill. In his recent song “Everybody Dies”, consisting of a sample of A Tribe Called Quest’s “Lyrics To Go”, the Dreamville rapper is assumed to be coming at freshmen class rappers such as Lil Yachty and Lil Uzi Vert. J Cole made an impact this week, announcing the release of his album 4 Your Eyez Only, scheduled to drop this Friday. The Crooked Smile MC spontaneously put out two videos, “False Prophets” and “Everybody Dies” and of course, fans went crazy. In the song “False Prophets”, J Cole seemingly comes at one of his idols, Kanye West for no longer being the honorable person he once was.
