Did Mike Dean Come For J. Cole For Kanye?

Photo Credit: Mike Dean It’s pretty clear by now that J. Cole took aim at Kanye West on “False Prophets.” I wouldn’t call it a “diss track” really, but it certainly wasn’t a nice one. While Ye isn’t around to defend his name, it appeared that famed producer Mike Dean, who’s tight with Ye, wanted to do so for him:

“why do artists who are lacking always make a diss song just before their LP comes out??”

Amidst the tracks back and forth from J. Cole’s “False Prophets” to Wale’s “Groundhog Day”, people really didn’t know where Wale and J. Cole stood as friends. The tracks weren’t quite diss tracks, but more like a conversation back and forth. Seems like those questions are answered when they were seen at the game together yesterday.

It was announced yesterday that J. Cole will be dropping his new album “4 Your Eyez Only” on December 9th, the two year anniversary of his platinum selling album “2014 Forrest Hills Drive”. He dropped a video along with his song “False Prophets” and it might be a shot at Kanye.
