Ja Rule sat down for a VladTV session when he was asked about using the n-word around his children, and the new trend of White rappers who do not hold their tongue in a verse. ““It’s hip-hop, man,” Ja Rule said. “The kids listen to hip-hop. They use the n-word. Point blank, period. There’s no way around it,” Ja says. “I’m at a concert the other day. Nothing but white kids at the concert. Metro Boomin is deejaying and shit, right? What does he throw on? ‘All day, n***a.’ And he’s fading the ‘n***a’ part. And those white kids are singing that ‘n***a’ word like a motherfucker.” With the music making the use of the word a norm, what is an artist to do; censor the lyrics depending on the look of the crowd?

Competing with shows like Empire & Power, this show is said to portray and feature Ashanti, Irv & the rest of Murda Inc. They will reunite to tell their story in a new show up that Ja Rule says will be by airing sometime next year on Showtime.
