Christina Milian celebrated her 35th birthday yesterday – the same day as her famous ex, Lil Wayne. However, Wayne was celebrating in Miami with friends and his longtime fianceé Dhea (yes, she’s still around,) while Tina was across the country in LA…with her former fiancé, Jas Prince! Hmm!
Lil Wayne and Birdman are still at odds, and now Rap-A-Lot CEO J. Prince is stepping in to solve the problems. AKA – he’s going to get Wayne his coins. J has a dog in the fight, as Birdman still owes his son, Jas Prince, money for discovering Drake years back.
Jas Prince, the man who discovered Drake before he was a global rap star, details just how he came across Drake, his affiliations and the humble beginnings that there were before signing to YMCMB.
Jas Prince has been in an ongoing lawsuit with Young Money and Lil Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant over owed royalties from discovering Drake years back and bringing him to them to sign. YM was saying that they never had a deal with Jas but with a company named Aspire, so that he should go after Aspire. That’s where Bryant comes in, as he works with Aspire, but he was saying that it wasn’t Aspire who was withholding money but Cash Money, since they weren’t giving Aspire the full amount that was coming in.
Drake is certainly worth a lot to Jas Prince (the guy who initially discovered the record-breaking rapper from Canada). Prince continues to get screwed over in the legal battle concerning the “finder’s fee” he was supposed to get from discovering Drake. Now he’s got a new fall guy to sue. Hit the jump.
