Yesterday afternoon, the whole TDE roster held their second annual Christmas concert and toy giveaway at the Nickerson Gardens Projects in Watts. The concert is free for the community, and it’s a great way for the TDE family to give back to the city that made them, especially during the season of giving! Aside from Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, SZA and Isaiah Rashad, the crowd were treated to not one but two surprises – in the form of both Big Sean and Ty Dolla $ign! Sean came out to gift the crowd with a performance of “Blessings,” while Dolla $ign followed up with his hit, “Blasé.” Check out videos from the event below!

Wale and Kendrick Lamar came into the game in the same class so to speak, so the pair have been cool for some time now. Somewhere along the way, their friendship apparently waned, and Wale made note of that when a fan on Twitter suggested to him that they should tour together. We saw how that played out, and when it included commentary from Jay Rock, it seemed like it could really go left.

Monday, after a fan tweeted to Wale saying that he should do a tour with Kendrick Lamar, he shocked fans by revealing that he and K.Dot seem to be on bad terms. Wale tweeted, “[Kendrick] ain’t answered that phone since the last [Grammy] nomination . I get the Demi lavato treatment from him now. It’s hard out here.” When TDE rapper Jay Rock caught wind of the tweet, he immediate fired shots at Wale, taking a line out of Meek Mill’s book saying, “I SEE WHY U NOT MMG.
