Remember the elder lady that met Hov on the train? Well, she has a lot to say about Jay-Z going ‘deep’ on MCHG. “It sounds like he’s really going deep into his heart and into fatherhood and even the meaning of fame. [He’s saying] that the money’s nice, but there’s life beyond that, that he’s exploring. I picked that up from the papers but I felt it in the man too, when I met him. That he had a depth to him.”
What We’ve Learned About Jay-Z Today…So Far
Jay-Z surprised us all when he began a replying spree on Twitter earlier today, but the best part is…he’s yet to stop! Hours later, we know a lot more about Hov than we did before…including the fact he likes to reply with brackets. If unlike me, you don’t get paid to watch Twitter all day (but have a tad bit of time for an IFWT post or two), I’ll break down everything you need to know below.

What is going on here! Jay-Z, like his buddy Kanye West and his wife Beyonce, has never been much of a tweeter. In fact, he joked just a couple weeks back that he’d reached his “yearly allotment” for tweets after he’d sent 5 in a row to promote the various projects his Roc Nation imprint has in the works. Hovie must have woke up on the right side of the bed this morning or something, though, as he started replying to the most random of tweets, some that don’t even mention him directly!
