Yes! Jazmine Sullivan is back ladies and gentleman. With a dope re-introduction like The Reality Show (and who could forget her Whitney Houston cover), it’s only right that she graces a few stages. The “Stupid Girl” songstress has announced The Reality Show Tour, and boy are we glad. The month-long tour is set to kick-off March 1 in New Orleans at the House of Blues, and finish up, also at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. But wait, New York and Philly, Jazmine has got you too. In 2011, Jazmine Sullivan had decided to take a hiatus from the music industry. Hoping that it wasn’t going to be for as long as it was, fans (such as myself) were on the prowl for her next project, and thankfully it’s on the way. May of 2014, Sullivan released the Meek Mill featured single “Dumb“, and now she is dropping more hits. Keyshia Cole, Jazmine Sullivan, and Tamar Braxron were some of the singing divas who headlined this year’s show at Georgia World Congress Center. In January 2011, powerhouse songstress Jazmine Sullivan announced via Twitter that she’d be taking a hiatus from music, with no further details as to how long fans would have to wait for her return. “i’m trying to figure out who i am… w/out a mike, paper or pen,” she explained in her tweets. “i promised myself that when it wasn’t fun anymore i wouldn’t do it. and here i am. i’m not saying i wont ever sing again in my life becuz i dont believe that. but in this moment… rt now… i got some things to figure out.” A little over 3 years later, the “Bust Your Windows” singer is finally back! Taking the stage in London over the weekend, Jazmine played a sold-out show performing her hits like “Lions, Tigers & Bears” and “Bust Your Windows,” as well as a cover of Daft Punk and Pharrell’s “Get Lucky.” After telling the crowd she was “glad to be back,” Jaz also reportedly revealed that she is working on her third album and will be dropping the first single soon.
