Find Out How Much Jeezy, Meek Mill & A$AP Mob Sold In Their First Week!

Both Meek Mill and Jeezy had amazing debuts on the Billboard 200 this week. The pair were neck-in-neck, with Jeezy’s Trap or Die 3 hitting number 1 with 89k, and Meek’s DC4 coming in at number 3 with 87k! Though both projects were continuations of mixtape series’ the guys had started, only Meek’s was another tape, while Jeezy’s was an official album. Elsewhere in the top 10, Views dropped out of the top 5 for the first time ever, after spending a whopping 6 months there! This week, Drake landed at number 7 with 36k units. Outside of the top 10, A$AP Mob make their debut with Cozy Tapes Vol. 1, coming in at number 13 with 21k units solid. That’s a solid number! RIP A$AP Yams, whose pet project was this mixtape. 21 Savage and Metro Boomin‘s Savage Mode also made its debut, coming in at number 30 with 14k. Looking ahead to next week, we will see the debuts of Alicia Keys’ Here album, and Common’s Black America Again. Though numbers for Common aren’t in yet, early sales forecasts for Alicia are looking at 38-43k. In the meantime, check out this week’s top 10 below!

If you know your Jeezy, you know that the Trap Or Die series is a staple in his career. The first was a mixtape he dropped in 2005, the sequel was Trap Or Die 2: By Any Means Necessary in 2010, and last week we saw the mixtape series culminate into an album in Trap Or Die 3. Jeezy now explains why he decided to revisit the series 12 years after starting it.

After dropping the singles “All There,” “Bout That,” “G Wagon” and “Going Crazy,” Jeezy finally releases his highly anticipated album “Trap Or Die 3.” The project is a return to old form and he describes it as “real authentic quality street music.” The 16 track album features Yo Gotti, Lil Wayne, French Montana, and the late Bankroll Fresh. The production is handled by D Rich, Shawty Redd, DJ Montay, S-X and more.Jeezy also announced that he would be dropping another album titled “Snow Season” before the end of the year. Jeezy will be dropping his highly anticipated album “Trap Or Die 3” at midnight. Before the album arrives he drops the visuals to his single “Goldmine” which was released yesterday.
