A very “prominent” player in the Grizzlies locker room has had enough of Jeff Green and from the sounds of things he is not the only one. Not sure how it got to this, considering Green was always a fan favorite and everyone was rooting for him after his heart surgery almost derailed his career but I guess time changes things.
NBA: Report, Celtics Trade Jeff Green To Memphis Grizzlies!
According to a report just a short time ago, the Boston Celtics have agreed to trade Jeff Green to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Tayshaun Prince and a first round pick. The deal is being finalized as of right now. This move makes the Grizzlies even more of a threat to win the west as they add a solid defender, but also a scorer who can create his own shot. These two teams have been flirting for a few days and it appears they finally pulled the trigger on the deal.

Last season this would’ve been considered a marquee matchup but with Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce now on the Nets and Rajon Rondo out with a torn ACL, no one gave the Boston Celtics a chance at beating the defending champion Miami Heat. However that’s exactly what happened.
