NFL: Colts’ Owner Jim Irsay Compares Risks of Playing Football to Taking Aspirin

It is indeed true that more tests need to be conducted in terms of football injuries and the permanent risk to the body but to deny the affects of CTE completely is just irresponsible.  Like Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay isn’t quite ready to definitively say that playing football can absolutely lead to serious damage.

Jim Irsay was F****d up!! Footage of the night the Colts owner was arrested for DUI was made public and there is no doubt he was in another world. It might look funny but he seriously could of did some damage that night if he was never pulled over. Besides being well over the legal limit, cops say Irsay had multiple painkillers in his his system, including oxycodone and hydrocodone. He was fined $500,000 by the NFL and suspended six weeks to start this season besides being sentenced to one year probation from the judge. It is clear from the video though he was feeling real nice that night.

All of those findings lend to the idea that he was up to no good. NFL: Colts Owner Jim Irsay Thanks Prosecutors For Not Filing Felonies in DUI Case

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay was officially charged with two misdemeanors after a late night driving arrest on March 16.  He was charged with one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and one count of operating a vehicle with a controlled substance or its metabolite in the body.  Irsay was operating a vehicle under the influence but escapes the more serious drug possession charge.  To express his gratitude, Irsay’s attorney issued a statement thanking the prosecutors.
