Today is the 32nd anniversary of the death of singer, John Lennon. Lennon, who was a member of the Beatles, was shot and killed by Mark David Chapman outside of his apartment in The Dakota in New York City. There was no funeral for Lennon, but his wife spread his ashes in Central Park in an area which is now known as Strawberry Fields. Although Lennon was only 40 year-old at the time, his music has made an impact that will last forever. Watch his most famous song, “Imagine,” below. Julie A. & the IFWT team

Cee-Lo Responds To The John Lennon Backlash
Cee-Lo Green performed John Lennon’s song “Imagine” during his New Year’s Eve performance on ABC. He changed around some of the lyrics to give his own spin on it, and this OUTRAGED Lennon fans. After witnessing all the backlash, Cee responded. “Yo I meant no disrespect by changing the lyric guys!” he took to his Twitter to say. “I was trying to say a world were u could believe what u wanted that’s all.†He soon deleted the tweets.
