NBA: 32 Front Office Execs Including 20 GMs Make Their MVP Pick

Stephen Curry was the back-to-back NBA MVP including the first unanimous vote last season.  This season is much different as there’s no clear-cut frontrunner.  Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook has been dazzling fans as he is close to joining Oscar Robertson as the only other player to average a triple-double for an entire season.  James Harden (who many people have on top) added playmaking to his repertoire after switching to point guard and has the Houston Rockets looking like title contenders.  Kawhi Leonard kills on both ends of the court, leading the San Antonio Spurs to the best record in the league currently.  Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is having one of the best individual seasons of his storied career and would become just the fourth player to win at least five MVP honors if he was selected.  Isaiah Thomas and John Wall are dark horses as their teams have turned things around, but for the most part, it’s a four-player race.

(Video) NBA: League Gives Kawhi Leonard a Drug Test Immediately After MVP Performance Over Rockets

Of all the professional sports leagues in America, the NBA is either the most lax in the rules or has the least amount of players using performance-enhancing drugs.  The NBA tests players randomly four times during the season and twice during the offseason, and it’s extremely rare that a player gets in trouble for PEDs.  Nonetheless, San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard was given a drug test immediately after his incredible MVP performance over the Houston Rockets.

(Video) NBA: LOL Andre Iguodala’s Flop Looks Like a Ghost Punched Him in the Face

Last night was the FIRST games of the season and we already have a flop of the year candidate.  On Tuesday night during the Golden State Warriors 129-100 blow-out loss to the San Antonio Spurs, Andre Iguodala flopped like there was a sniper in the crowd.

NBA: Kawhi Leonard to Skip His College Hall of Fame Induction to Play in Spurs Preseason Game

Kawhi Leonard is one of five former Aztecs in the Class of 2016 who will be honored at San Diego State’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Friday.  Unfortunately for them, they will be without the school’s greatest basketball player in attendance.

NBA: Lebron James Reveals Which Player Guards Him The Best

It’s amazing how many sub-stories can come from one podcast but that’s what the power of Lebron James does. Bron was on the “Open Run Podcast” earlier this week, where a bunch of topics were covered like the Olympics, Michael Jordan’s legacy, how hard it is to guard Carmelo Anthony and more. Each of those topics essentially became their own story for websites such as this but there was more. Lebron has always been asked who guards him the best and he usually never gives a direct answer. This time he decided to answer with no hesitation that Kawhi Leonard makes life the toughest on the King on the court.

NBA: Kawhi Leonard Named Defensive Player of the Year For the 2nd Year in a Row

The San Antonio Spurs’ Kawhi Leonard, who helped the team finish with the NBA’s top defense this season, is the recipient of the 2015-16 Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award, the NBA announced today. Leonard, a 6-7 forward, becomes the first non-center to earn the honor in back-to-back seasons since Dennis Rodman in 1989-90 and 1990-91.
