(Photo) NBA: LOL, Kendrick Perkins Upset Thunder Teammates Dissed Him To Hang Out

It wouldn’t be wise for Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Thunder to piss off big man Kendrick Perkins. After all, he is the goon of the team and the first one to protect the superstars on the team. He felt some type of way after Hasheem Thabeet posted a pic to his Instagram account yesterday showing a bunch of the teammates chilling, but no Perk. Not sure where they were at, but Perkins let them know he he felt by commenting on the photo. Hit the jump to see.


NBA: Joakim Noah Responds to Kendrick Perkins Kicking Him Out of the Thunder Locker Room

On Thursday night after the Chicago Bulls suffered a 107-95 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Joakim Noah was invited into the Thunder’s locker room by his former teammate Thabo Sefolosha.  Kendrick Perkins however wasn’t having it and promptly kicked Noah out of the locker room.  Of course the news got out and made it’s rounds prompting a response from Noah about the incident.

Any basketball fan already knows Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins is the enforcer on the team. You got an issue with Durant or Westbrook, you are gonna have to go through him first. From the sounds of it, he is still in goon mode even after games. Last night the Thunder beat the Bulls 107-95 in Oklahoma. Thabo Sefolosha, who used to play for the Bulls and was a teammate of Noah at that time thought it would be cool to bring Noah into the Thunder locker room after the game. As part of the NBA Global Games the Oklahoma City Thunder are playing their first preseason game in Istanbul, Turkey against Fenerbahce Ulker.  After undergoing an additional surgery the Thunder will now be without starting point guard Russell Westbrook for at least the first month of the regular season.  They lost another starter today (for far less time though) as Kendrick Perkins dislocated his finger and apparently tried to fix it himself, unsuccessfully of course.  Check it out after the jump.


NBA: Doc Rivers Admits One BIG Mistake During His Time In Boston

Now that all the dust has settled on Doc Rivers moving from Boston to Los Angeles to coach the Clippers, it seems he may finally be comfortable discussing some things from his tenure in Boston that maybe he would not of said before. You can nitpick little things that happened while he was with the Celtics that maybe hurt their chances of winning at certain times, but according to Rivers, one specific move seemed to really set the Celtics back.
