NCAA: Drake Indirectly Causes Kentucky’s Basketball Program To Be Hit With NCAA Sanctions

Drake and Kentucky’s basketball program have had a love affair since 2009 but like any relationship, there are going to be issues. The school was notified this week that it was being hit with numerous secondary violations, which at the end of the day really don’t mean much, and that Drake was involved in one of them, although he did absolutely nothing wrong personally and neither did the school for that matter.

NCAA: John Calipari Says All Eligible Kentucky Players Will Declare for NBA Draft Even the Walk-ons!

There’s jokes about Kentucky being home of the one and done.  Last year they set a record with having seven players declare for the NBA draft.  This year coach John Calipari went even further and says that all eligible players will declare for NBA draft, even the walk-ons!

LSU’s Ben Simmons has been making major waves in college ball and is projected to be the No.1 overall draft pick.  Simmons is averaging 20.1 ppg, 12.9 rpg and 5.2 apg; some people however have criticized his big numbers citing that he hasn’t played real competition.  Well Tuesday night was a major test for the Freshman as his LSU Tigers faced the Kentucky Wildcats.

Each year Kentucky coach John Calipari is rumored to be leaving college basketball and coming back to coach in the NBA.  Last summer he had the opportunity to take a job coaching the Cleveland Cavaliers but turned it down.  Now with the Cavaliers playing in the NBA Finals and the Kentucky Wildcats losing in the NCAA tourney, does Calipari have any regrets?

The Kentucky Wildcats had an undefeated regular season and the usual madness and questioning of could they beat an NBA team started up yet again.  The Wildcats streak came to a halt during the Final Four when Wisconsin got a 71-64 win over them.  Following the game Brandon Jennings took to his Twitter account and sarcastically asked if Kentucky can still beat an NBA team.  Of course a few fans weren’t happy about and responded to Jennings.  Always ready tho, Jennings had a clap back for each of them.  He also blamed ESPN for the question even being asked in the first place.
