On Sunday night the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Detroit Pistons 96-94 but before the game started OKC star and reigning MVP Kevin Durant had some other business to take care of.  Durant made it a very special night for a kid who went through something devastating.

Kevin Durant spent last summer at a basketball camp, teaching little kids the ins and outs on the sport that he clearly loves. Well, a clip from a one-on-one session between KD and one of the little guys has now gone viral. OKC’s Kevin Durant definitely let us know that Ball IS Life and he’ll be taking shorts from NO ONE, after monstrously blocking the little guy’s shot. NBA Report: Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook Could Return to Thunder Lineup Next Week

When Kevin Durant suffered a foot fracture during the preseason, the timeline for his recovery was initially reported as being six to eight weeks.  When Russell Westbrook suffered a hand fracture in the second game of the season, the timetable for him to return was projected as being four to six weeks.  That time is finally up, both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook could return to the lineup next week.

NBA: Kobe Bryant Responds On If He Thinks Dwight Howard is “Soft” or a “P*ssy”

The Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers squared off again Wednesday night but this time Rockets star Dwight Howard was absent.  Amongst his legal troubles with his babymother and whisperings of his previous altercation with Kobe Bryant, Howard sat out with a “sprained right knee” and did not even watch the game from the bench.  After the Lakers pulled off the 98-92 win, Kobe was asked about his previous spat with Howard when he called him “soft” as well Kevin Durant’s recent incident where he called Howard “p*ssy”.
