NBA: Lakers Jersey Numbers Being Used as Code Words for Drugs
I’m pretty sure this is not what the Lakers want their players to be associated with — drugs. This doesn’t even seem like a smart system to me?! You really don’t think cops/feds or whoever will catch on?! Jersey numbers are being used to request a specific amount of drugs (just like what Hov was rapping about with Wade & Bron in “Empire State of Mind”) . What in the world?! Kobe Bryant ranked 25th in ESPN’s player rankings?! Is this some type of joke?! FOH!!! Earlier today ESPN released the player ranking for 21-25 — and there was Kobe at 25. SMH. I can NOT wait to hear Kobe’s reaction to this news.

If it’s one thing you can’t deny about Kobe Bryant its that he’s one of if not THE hardest worker in the league. He suffered a torn Achilles during the latter end of last season and it’s unclear when he’ll return to the court. There are alot of championships in this picture. Kobe with his 5 rings and Floyd with his countless belts, this looks like a conversation for champs only. Last night Floyd caught up with Kobe inside the arena at the MGM in Las Vegas after the Lakers played the Kings in a pre-season game. These 2 are friends and stay in touch every couple weeks according to Floyd. “Me and Kobe have both been professionals for 17 years we can relate to one another, he’s a good and I wish him nothing but the best – I want him to get healthy.” Floyd then tried to drop some knowledge on Kobe, even though it was a pretty cliche message, I am sure Kobe acted like it was insightful.
