The Weeknd’s Cop-Punching Case Has Been Dismissed

Last January, The Weeknd had quite a rowdy night in Vegas, and ended up being arrested after punching a cop in the head while reportedly trying to break up a separate fight. Appearing in court in October, the XO singer pled no contest to battery of a protected person as part of a plea deal, which stated that he must stay out of trouble, complete 50 hours of community service at a non-profit, take impulse control counseling, an alcohol evaluation and pay $1,000 to the District Attorney’s Victim Witness Center: Injured Police Fund. Sheesh!


T.I. Announces Las Vegas Residency

T.I. is making moves! The Hustle Gang CEO recently announced he joined TIDAL as an artist owner as well as inked a deal with Roc Nation, now T.I. is taking his talents to Sin City for a mini-residency. Kicking off March 5th, T.I. will be performing at Drai’s LIVE engagement at Las Vegas’ newest hotel, The Cromwell. Michael Gruber, president and partner of Drai’s Enterprises, spoke highly of T.I. and the company’s excitement to have him. “Tip is an exceptional entertainer and addition to the Drai’s LIVE series,” he said, “A reigning figure in the music industry and beyond, we are thrilled for what’s in store with his performances and we look forward to welcoming him into the Drai’s family.” T.I. will put on one show each month until July. Big Boi Announces Las Vegas Residency

2016 is gearing up to big a huge year for Outkast rapper, Big Boi. Not only is he hitting the road with Phantogram for the Big Grams Tour, he’s landed a year long residency at in Sin City. Kicking off February 6th, Big Boi will perform once a month at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. In addition to the Las Vegas residency, Big Boi will be performing several festivals with Phantogram, as part of their Tour in support of their joint album Big Grams. Fans will be able to catch the duo at Governor’s Ball, Bonnaroo, and Sasquatch. Check down bottom for all the dates.


NFL: Report, Raiders Move To Las Vegas Is A Serious Possibility

The Oakland Raiders almost wound up in Los Angeles for next season. In fact, there is still a slim chance they wind up there for 2017 but it’s doubtful. San Antonio, Texas has also been growing as a realistic moving spot for the Raiders and now a new, reportedly serious contender is in the works. Las Vegas!
