Grand opening, grand closing. After only a little over a year since announcing she’d signed with Jay Z’s Roc Nation imprint for management, M.I.A. has parted ways with them. As we ushered the new year in, the singer revealed the news on Twitter. “2013 i dlted old tweet to bring u this. im leaving @RocNation,” she wrote. “Thank to everyone who supported the M.I.A #MATANGI LP. HAPPY NEW YEAR | 2014.”
