Toni Braxton’s Biopic ‘Unbreak My Heart’ Is Lifetime’s Most Watched Movie In A Year

Drawing in a total of 3.6 million total viewers on Saturday night, the Toni Braxton Lifetime biopic Unbreak My Heart has become the most-watched original movie on the network over a year. As for the numbers breakdown:

“The movie drew 1.8 million adults ages 25-54, 1.7 million adults 18-49, 1.4 million women 25-54 and 1.3 million women 18-49 in live-plus-same day numbers.”

Prior to Unbreak My Heart, the Whitney Houston biopic Whitney was the most-watched in some time on the network. Looks like the Aaliyah biopic fell between the cracks.

The first trailer for Lifetime’s Toni Braxton biopic has been unveiled. The film, which is based on Braxton’s 2014 memoir, similarly titled, ‘Unbreak My Heart’ chronicles her life starting with her rise to fame, dealing with success and financial struggles, battling illness as well as her divorce and raising her son with Autism. Set for release January 23, the TV movie stars Lex Scott Davis as Toni Braxton. The film will be produced by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds , while Braxton will executive produce as well as guest star. Michelle Obama Will Appear As A Guest Judge On ‘Project Runway Junior’

President Obama recently made an appearance on popular TV show Running Wild With Bear Grylls and now Michelle Obama is following her husband’s lead and will appear as a guest judge on a brand new Lifetime series. Lifetime has taken it’s popular show Project Runway and has given it a facelift adding Junior to the title. The show will now showcase the talent of designers from the ages of 14 to 17.
