After releasing a video this weekend revealing that he’d be hitting the road with Future and T.I., Lil Wayne has revealed the “America’s Most Wanted” tour dates. The show will be a “festival” and play at outdoor arenas throughout the summer, kicking off in July in Alabama and wrapping up in September in California. TMZ caught a lot of heat last weekend, after they’d reported that Lil Wayne had been read his last rites while in the hospital…aka, he was about to die. Though they had most of their information right, this was apparently far from the truth and even if it wasn’t at the time, it begs questions about integrity in journalism and what rites the family has (like keeping that info to themselves until it’s final.) In the end, it only makes TMZ look bad, as we now know Weezy is far from the grave and has been released and is feeling good. (Thank goodness!) While appearing on MTV Rapfix yesterday to promote his new song “Celebrate,” Mack Maine touched on the topic of Wayne’s health and shared Wayne’s reaction when he heard TMZ was posting such crazy things.
