Lil Wayne Has THREE Tours & New Music Dropping This Year!

Lil Wayne had a pretty quiet 2016, as he’s currently wrapped up in a legal battle with his former label, Cash Money Records. Though the reconciliation seemed to be off between Wayne and Birdman the last we heard, it looks like behind-the-scenes, SOMETHING is being worked out – as now we’re getting a Weezy overload in 2017! Just days after the Young Money rapper announced his Kloser 2 U tour, he has followed it up with the announcement of two more tours and new music!


Lil Wayne Announces ‘Kloser 2 U’ Tour Dates

Starting in April, Lil Wayne will be hitting the road for his ‘Kloser 2 U’ tour. The 13-date trek kicks off in Louisville, and hits a handful of other major cities before wrapping in Detroit in May. There’s nothing on the east coast for now, but perhaps additional dates will be added. (There’s plenty in California where I’m at now, though! Haaaay!) Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 3, via Ticketmaster. Check out the full list of dates below.


The Roots Picnic 2017: Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Solange + More!

It’s almost time for another year of the annual Roots Picnic! As usual, the festivities will go down the first Saturday in June (which lands on June 3rd) at Philadelphia’s Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing.

BirdmanVEVO The 20th Anniversary of Cash Money Records is this weekend, the same as All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana. Reports have come in now that Birdman and Lil Wayne will both definitely be celebrating their record label’s 20th birthday, but of course not together.

Just last week, Nicki Minaj shared a photo of herself, Drake and Lil Wayne all together, making Young Money fans around the globe quite excited. The trifecta of superstars have been connected since the late 2000’s, but recently saw some tension among the Drake/Meek Mill beef. There were even rumors of some Drake/Wayne beef as well, though there never appeared to be any basis for those.
