Lil Wayne Grants Rare Interview To New Orleans Radio Station

We don’t hear from Lil Wayne in a formal setting often, but with a big show coming up, the Young Money rapper decided to grant a rare interview to Wild Wayne at his hometown’s radio station, Q93. During the chat, Tune spoke on his upcoming book Gone Til November, ColleGrove, the recent loss of Toya’s brothers and more. He also revealed that he’s a part of Gudda Gudda’s rap group L.A.T. (Loyalty Amongst Thieves), with himself and YM affiliate HoodyBaby replacing Flow and Kevin Gates. The 2016 Lil Weezyana Fest, going down this Saturday, August 27 in Weezy’s hometown of New Orleans. The show is hosted by Karen Civil and will feature himself and 2 Chainz (as the duo, ColleGrove,) as well as Yo Gotti, Migos, Mystikal and Partners N Crime. Tickets are still available now, here. Lil Wayne Announces Second Annual Lil Weezyana Fest

Lil Wayne will return to his hometown of New Orleans for the second annual Lil Weezyana Fest this year. Last year, the Young Money rapper kicked off with the inaugural event (coinciding with the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina,) and it featured a Hot Boys reunion, as well as performances from Drake and another New Orleans star, August Alsina. This year, Weezy will continue with the ColleGrove kick he’s been on this year, and will be joined by 2 Chainz when the show goes down on Saturday, August 27. Other artists are expected to be announced soon as well.
