A tragic house fire in Suffolk County, claimed the lives of a mother and her children last night. 41 year old Jennifer McCusker, her 2-year-old twins, Brendan and Ava Mistretta and her 7-year-old son Aidan Tarbell, were in the home on Hollywood Drive at the time of the fire. A storekeeper from Long Island showed what he was made of when a man tried to rob his store. Captured by the store’s surveillance cameras, the unidentified man entered the store masked, pointing a .22 at the clerk. Words are exchanged seconds before the clerk pulls out a machete, lifts the counter, and pursues the man– who began running away. Check it out after the jump.
