With the release of the Nike Basketball “Easter” Pack right around the corner, we thought we would give you another look at the sneakers included. The “Easter” pack will include the Nike LeBron X Low, the Kobe 8, and the KD V. All three of these sneakers will feature bright pastel colors in celebration of spring and the upcoming holiday. The LeBron X Low “Easter” has a dope mint color with poison green accents and a speckled midsole. The Kobe 8 “Easter” features a pastel blue tint, purple, and yellow meshed upper with a speckled midsole. Last, but not least KD V “Easter” features a turquoise blue upper with orange laces and a multi-colored Nike swoosh. NBA: Kobe Tells His Teammates to Yell at Him For the Ball Cause He Only Sees the Basket
Everybody knows that if the game is on the line and the Lakers are down, the ball will be in Kobe Bryant’s hands. The veteran shooting guard is known for taking over and hitting incredible shots with the definition of clutch. The problem is sometimes Kobe gets double or even triple teamed and he still attempts to take the shot rather than passing to an open teammate. Everybody knows how important winning is to Kobe Bryant. When need be he puts the whole team on his back and hits insane shots when the game is on the line. In his quest to win is also his quest to get a sixth championship. We all know the great Michael Jordan has six rings and the Black Mamba is often compared to him so it’s only right that he finish off his career with six as well. Many thought it would happen this year when the Lakers acquired Steve Nash and Dwight Howard but things went south. NBA: Coach Mike D’Antoni Goes on a Rant After the Lakers Blow an 18-Point Lead
The Lakers are currently 36-34 and holding onto the 8th seed in the Western Conference thanks in part to the Utah Jazz falling apart. One thing I’ve noticed is the Lakers would build up big leads and then lose it. That also happened last night when they built an 18 point lead over the Washington Wizards then lost it and subsequently lost the game. NBA: Pau Gasol Has Early Return Date & A Starting Spot on Lakers Roster
Kobe Bryant did an incredible job of getting the Lakers to the 8th seed in the Western Conference when no one thought he could do it, but then he suffered a severely sprained ankle during the Lakers game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. The Lakers currently have a one game lead over the Utah Jazz for the eighth spot with the Dallas Mavericks slowly creeping up so they’ll need some offensive help if the Mamba doesn’t return to 100% soon.
