(Video) NBA Throwback: Dr. J “Rock The Baby” Dunk Over the Lakers

Ok so some of these posts I clearly wasn’t old enough to witness and in this case even alive, so I had to do my homework.  NBA throwbacks aren’t complete without showing a crazy dunk by the man himself Julius Erving also known as Dr. J.  When I came across this one it just had to be included.  The pure creativity and finesse of this dunk over Michael Cooper leaves a lasting memory.  Check the video out after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl

(Video) NBA Throwback: Chris Childs Hits Kobe With a Two Piece Combo

Kobe fans usually get convenient amnesia when this fight is mentioned but Knicks fans will never forget.  The two got in each other’s faces and Childs hit Kobe with a lil headbutt and in return Kobe threw an elbow.  Then it got REAL, Childs hit Kobe with a two piece combo, Kobe then swung and missed before the two were broken up and separated.  Check the video out after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl

(Video) NBA Throwback: Kobe Bryant “More Than Just ‘The Shot'” Buzzerbeater

Game 4 of the series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns.  It looks to me like Nash was fouled by Lamar Odom or Luke Walton but ref called a jump ball.  Walton wins the jump ball and tips it out to Kobe.  Kobe then hit the jumper over two defenders at the buzzer to give the Lakers the 99-98 win over the Suns.  He put the Lakers up 3-1 in the series later eliminating them from the playoffs and more to come.  Check the video out after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl
