The Black Mamba is back!  Well sort’ve…  The Los Angeles Lakers took on the Utah Jazz on Sunday night for their first preseason game.  It also marked the return of Kobe Bryant who sat out last season after undergoing surgery for a torn rotator cuff.  As expected, his first game back showed a bit of rust.  Bryant played just 12 minutes and finished with 5 points after going 1/5 from the field and hitting 2 free throws in the Lakers 90-71 loss.  His first shot of the night was a doozy…

Kobe Bryant went on Shaquille O’Neal’s podcast and discussed their old feud.  Both men admitted regret letting their egos get in the way and acting immaturely at the time, breaking up a dynasty with the Lakers that had already won three titles.  But how many could they have won if they had checked their egos at the door?  Well Shaq has to the answer to that.
