Wale has earned his second number one on the Billboard 200 with the release of his fourth studio album, The Album About Nothing. The project moved 100k units (SPS) since its release last week, securing the top spot above Ludacris‘ new release at number 3 with Ludaversal. In comparison, Wale‘s debut album Attention Deficit came in at number 21 with 28,000 units sold in November of 2009 (despite having Lady Gaga on its lead single,) his sophomore feat Ambition debuted at number 2 in November of 2011 with 164,000 units sold, and his last release, The Gifted, debuted at number 1 in June of 2013 with 158k units sold. Ludacris has everything to celebrate. In addition to having a baby on the way, the Atlanta native is gearing up to release his ninth studio album, Ludaversal. The album is slated to drop March 31 – right after Kendrick Lamar’s Untitled. The 14-track project will have features from Monica, Big K.R.I.T., Miguel, Usher and more for the deluxe version (straight from his December EP Burning Bridges). Two years ago, Ludacris drove his 93 Acura Legend (which I’m assuming he’s kept over the years to remind him of where he started) up to his private plane, and posted the photo on Instagram with the caption:

Now as he gears up to release his new album Ludaversal on March 31, the father-to-be (again) has decided to use the image as his album cover. Started.
